Under the sparked red star
beside the southern island
The ocean seams so staunch but soft
Using delicate embroidery
with rough weaving sleeves
Lash them out like the waves do
Finally,
We all ended up being serenely like the horizon
And fell deep deep into the magic of Minamoron
/ Inspired by
Taiwanese Indigenous tribe "TAO"
The Indigenous Project was inspired by my trip to the beautiful Orchid Island.
Using recycled fabrics, self-dying and delicate embroidery Tao totem, “Deep in Minamoron” was selected out of the entire cohort to be exhibited at the Shung Ye Museum of Formosa Aborigines.
Finally,
We all ended up being serenely like the horizon,
and fell deep deep into the magic of Minamoron
